In this engaging and interactive breakfast workshop, author and executive coach Nick Robinson draws on his new book, The 9 Types of Difficult People. He explores practical strategies to quickly improve workplace relationships and team dynamics by understanding and managing people and their behaviors.

Attendees will:

  • Discover why people become difficult at work and what to tackle first
  • Face up to the cost of difficult behaviours: to the organisation, its customers and its people
  • Learn how to turn things around, positively and with empathy
  • Build on leadership skills and takeaway actionable tips and advice to tackle their own difficult people challenges
  • Improve working relationships and team dynamics

Nick Robinson has over two decades’ experience as an Executive Coach, working with managers across every size and type of organisation – from SMEs to multinationals, public sector to private.

He’s a former Chartered Accountant, a Certified Professional Coach, an NLP Master Practitioner, a Graduate of the Newfield School’s Mastery in Coaching programme and has served two terms on the national governing Council of the Institute of Directors.

Before becoming a coach Nick had large-company experience in senior Finance, Corporate Strategy, Human Resources and Project Director roles. He now specialises in one-to-one and team coaching for difficult people and tough teams at work.

Eligibility: Your business must be based within the Cheshire East area to be eligible for this course.

The Chamber of Commerce has been providing workshops and masterclasses to support businesses across Cheshire East since October 2023.  These events have been fully funded by UK Government under the Shared Prosperity Fund.  The value of these events is considered to be Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) and each business may only receive total subsidies of a maximum of £315,000 over 3 Financial Years.
