It's an initiative to help businesses attract and retain young talent.

We are excited to announce the launch of the North Cheshire Young Professionals Network 2022 which we are running in partnership with The Macclesfield Pledge, part of the Pledge Partnership for Cheshire and Warrington which is a fully funded programme working across 100% of mainstream schools and colleges across the region putting employers at the heart of informing and inspiring young people within our locality.

The Young Professionals Network aims to provide development and network opportunities to support young people aged 16-24 from Macclesfield, Poynton, Wilmslow and Knutsford, and surrounding areas, who are in the early stages of their career, including those undertaking apprenticeships.

This is a great opportunity for local employers to invest and support their young professionals and to help attract future talent with a proven peer network. It is free for Chamber members and £100 for non-Chamber members for up to 2 professionals.

Jumpstart your day at our networking breakfast with Everybody Sports & Recreation at their Macclesfield Leisure Centre facility.

The event will start at 8.00am with light healthy (of course) breakfast snacks and networking, there will a talk from the EveryBody team on the importance of health and wellbeing and the small changes you can make that have a big impact, an introduction to the facilities available right on your doorstep, and the membership options whatever your size of business, and the event will round off with a tour of the facility

This is a free event and is open to members and non-members but booking is essential please.

Art Fair Cheshire is back this year from 26 May until 5 June to showcase work by over 80 local and regional artists, and for the first time is hosting a gallery of newly graduated and emerging artists.

Established in 1999, Art Fair Cheshire is a fantastic fund-raising event for East Cheshire Hospice, which benefits by artists donating a percentage of their sales to the Hospice, some even donate the full amount!

On the first day of the event, North Cheshire Chamber and Art Fair Cheshire are collaborating to invite you a networking breakfast - so you can get a sneak preview before the doors are opened to the public.

The networking breakfast will be held in The Capesthorne Room at Macclesfield Town Hall and there will be light refreshments on arrival and the opportunity to renew business contacts, make new contacts you don't yet know, and of course preview the incredible artworks available to buy.

This is a free event and numbers may be restricted, so book soon to secure your place.
