Following our last hugely popular clay pigeon shoot, we are going back to Cloudside for a second time to host "The Shoot of 2019"!

The venue is the renowned Cloudside Shooting Grounds overlooking the hills just outside Macclesfield, where the countryside and views are absolutely stunning

The day starts at 10.30am with breakfast, followed by a safety session and shooting practice.  After a lunchtime break there will be a team competition followed by prize-giving and an early informal dinner and drinks.

As anyone who came last time, this is an event not to be missed - you don't need any previous shooting experience or ability, and teams of four are are made up to compete for the team prize, so you can book just one ticket or bring your whole team - it is a members only event but you are welcome to bring guests

The next of our Meet the Chamber events is taking place at the historic Tudor Gothic-style building of Hollin Hotel Hotel in Kerridge.  Set in beautiful gardens and overlooking unspoilt countryside, the hotel is just minutes from Macclesfield town centre yet offers a real "out of town" experience.

Being run throughout the year, our series of Meet the Chamber events is an informal opportunity to hear more about the benefits of being a member of North Cheshire Chamber whilst networking with fellow members and new contacts over a light breakfast.

We will be joined by Sara Knowles, Trade Advisor at the Department of International Trade, who will give an overview on exporting your goods and services overseas and the vast opportunities that exist.

Join us at the home of locally produced Forest Gin and see a real live gin distillery in action.

Karl Bond will be opening up the distillery located in a 17th century stone barn on the edge of Macclesfield Forest to show you round and talk about how he's grown his business to where it is now. There will be a large G&T ... will that be regular or Earl Grey ... some delicious wood-fired pizza, and of course some great company and networking.

Join us at The Button Warehouse in Macclesfield for fast and furious speed networking!  This really popular format for networking gives you two-minutes to introduce your business to every other attendee, and likewise hear introductions from your fellow attendees. The evening will round off with networking at a more leisurely pace over drinks and canapes.

Cheshire East Council has published its Pre-Budget Consultation Report, setting out proposals on their financial plans as to how services will be delivered over the next three years.

At this breakfast event at the Tytherington Club, Alex Thompson, Head of Finance & Performance, and Cllr Paul Bates, Portfolio Cabinet Holder for Finance & Communications, will present the Pre-Budget document.  The council is inviting the views and opinions of the local community, so come along to this free event to have your say.
