Let’s raise our glasses to North Cheshire Chamber
The launch of North Cheshire Chamber of Commerce & Enterprise was celebrated with a cork popping party in the elegant grandeur of Macclesfield Town Hall.
Over 100 people attended the event to celebrate Macclesfield Chamber’s rebrand to North Cheshire Chamber, a name which now truly reflects the area the Chamber covers – Knutsford, Macclesfield, Wilmslow and all the smaller areas in-between. Sue Bowden, Chief Executive, talked about the over-whelming support for the name change … from members, neighbouring Chambers, British Chambers of Commerce. She said: “Across Cheshire there are four independent Chambers and because Chamber’s are all about localism, we have all chosen to remain independent and becoming North Cheshire will take away the misconception we only cover Macclesfield and encourage companies across the wider North Cheshire area to join us, and join in!
As well as the new name, the Chamber also has had a new website www.northcheshirechamber.co.uk built and designed by Big Brand Ideas, and Jon Butler, MD at the agency, talked about how membership of the Chamber helped his company when he started out as a fledgling business, and his role now as Patron cements his commitment to supporting the Chamber and the local business community.
Other Patrons … AstraZeneca, Harts Accountants and Thorneycroft Solicitors … were out in force celebrating on the night and Mark Bestley of Thorneycrofts could not praise the benefits of patronage and membership enough.
So, if you are not yet a member …. join us and join in !
